Marriages can last - mine has 47 years
Here's some bubble wrap that has kept my husband and me together for forty-seven years. We said our vows February 18, 1962, and we'll celebrate still being friends, lovers, and together. We stay loving each other even during the times we might not like each other very much.
It has to be love when Robert says I'm still as beautiful as on our wedding day.
He promised me at least fifty years forty-seven years ago, and he's doing his best to keep that promise. I think it's time to change that promise to at least seventy-five.
Marriages can last, but a lasting marriage takes lots of work, love, and pure stubbornness on the part of both people.

Happy Anniversary, Vivian & Robert!
Happy Anniversary Viv and Robert. :-)
We hope to celebrate our 20th anniversary on Saturday ;-)
Thank you, Rena.
Bianca! *hugs* Thanks so much, and congratulations.
You got that right - lol - lots of stubbornness on both parts. Congrats and hope you have many more - E :)
Thank you, Elysabeth.
We're going to Chilli's tonight for dinner, and we're starting on the next 47 years.
Happy Anniversary, Vivian!
You're ahead of us. We're only at 36 so far.

Very best wishes for making it to 75 years. My grandparents were married close to 60 years until my grandmother died. But my grandfather considered them still married until the day he died at 96.
Morgan, the next eleven years will pass faster than you realize or really want. I can't believe I've been married over twice as long as I was single. When we celebrate 54 years, it will be three times longer than I was single. Ish.
Ah, Sassy, thanks. I hope we make it to 75, too.
Happy Anniversary, Vivian and Robert. Forty-seven years is no small accomplishment.
