Finally met and held Haylee Rose

Haylee Rose, two weeks old.

Due to vehicle problems, my husband and I were unable to visit our new great-granddaughter. Monday, my granddaughter called and told us that since her son's baseball game was rained out, they would come see us.

I waited with camera at hand. I held Haylee, as did Robert. Granny and PaPa enjoyed seeing and meeting Haylee, or little Rose as Robert called her. We also liked seeing our great-grandson and granddaughter.

Haylee slept much of her visit, but when Mommy was getting her ready to leave, the baby woke and studied us carefully. Since Daddy still worked and needed something to eat, Mommy, baby, and brother needed to leave.

Thanks to a loving granddaughter, we met Haylee Rose. Hopefully it will be but the first of many times we will be with her.
Kurtis used my camera to take this picture of Granny and Haylee. Isn't she tiny? She's about the same weight as she was when she was born.

Oh, that is so sweet - I hope someone thought to get a picture of YOU holding Haylee Rose! She's adorable, and Robert's looking good in that photo, holding her.

See Granny beam from year to year? I'm delighting in the affirmation of my opinion of beautiful Haylee.
