Cover of I Like Pink |
My first published children's picture book is real and the proof in hand. I approved the proof, and copies are ordered.
I wish I could have a launch party for I Like Pink, but I don't think the launch party fairy is going to do the job. After all, she won't clean the kitchen either.
Ginger Nielson did her usual excellent job illustrating the book, inspired by something my great-granddaughter Haylee said when three-years old: "I like pink: dark pink, light, and almost white pink."
The result -- a book dedicated to her, a concept book helping youngsters learn colors and that colors have shades.
Copies of the book can be purchased through the 4RV Bookstore, and in a few days will be available through regular bookstores, Amazon, and other online stores.
I hope some people will agree to host posts for a book blog tour for Haylee Rose and her story. I would appreciate some reviews, too. Guess time will tell.

I'm anxious to read the book. I'll purchase & then review. I'll let you know. I have no little granddaughters anymore, but I have a sweet girl in our church that I know will love it after I read it. Good luck.
The cover is gorgeous. The story sounds perfect for young girls. I'd be happy to host you for an interview or guest post or spotlight. Whatever you'd like. Let me know when.
(I hope this goes through. This is my third try. Blogger hates me.)
Thanks, Janet. I'll put together a blog tour once I have books in hand, and I'll take you up on that offer of a review.
