Whew, another Muse Online Writers Conference finished
Later this month I'll post information about how people can register for next year's Muse Online Writers Conference, but for now, I'm finishing up this year's. Today is the last day.
The week was busy but interesting. Lea Schizas added a new activity: authors could pitch, in writing, to publishers, editors, and/or agents. 4RV ended up with two pitch sessions, fourteen pitches in one and twelve in the other. We may have some good submissions as a result.
The pitch sessions gave writers a chance to present their work and receive some professional feedback. Yes, real agents, editors, and publishers attended.
Hopefully, life can get back to normal (whatever that is) now that conferences are over and only one more book festival to attend this year.

The conference was fun!
Enjoy your last book festival - mine was this past weekend.
Yes, it was, and now I'm trying to go through all my notices of messages left on forums.
Isn't The Muse, MuseItUpClub & all of the critique group an incredible mesh of illustrator, authors, editors, & publishers? I know I'd never have the knowledge, comradeship with "like minded" people. I'm up to my eyeballs with the stack of things I learned. Now comes the hard, but most exciting part...putting it into action.

Thank you so much for bringing this conference to the attention of your visitors, Vivian. I know that you encourage the authors whose books you publish to attend to. Lea Schizas and I are eager to make this program available to the broadest audience possible and people like you are sure helping!

Due to personal issues, I was not able to attend the conference this year, or help out. I've been hearing good things, of course, and hope to attend again next year.
I hope to have a workshop next year, English Refresher 101.
Hopefully, I'll have some help with all the areas we'll need to cover.
I learned a great deal at the conference! Thanks, Lea, Carolyn, Vivian, and all the talented teachers and helpers.
I'll sign up for your refresher course, Vivian.
The conference is amazing. It gives EVERYONE a great opportunity to learn and move forward in the writing world.
The VBT - Writers on the Move was created as a direct result of last's year's conference!
Thanks, Karen, for stopping by and reminding us of that fact.
I really enjoyed the conference. Got to do some housework soon. But it was fantastic - kept me glued to the computer, and all of it useful.
Thanks for being a part of the conference. I'm already looking forward to next year, which probably means I wasn't as involved as I should have been. :]
