Dog sleding becomes center of YA novel by Terry Johnson

Terry Johnson owned eighteen sled dogs and taught dogsledding in Canadian schools.  She understands the lifestyle and the unique relationship between mushers and dogs. Terry took her knowledge and love of the dogs and sledding and wrote an intriguing young adult novel Dogsled Dreams.  She may have meant for her audience to be middle grade, but as an adult I find the story gripping and interesting. Everyone from 4RV who proof read or edited agree with my assessment.

The author's ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) will be sent to prospective reviewers in the coming weeks so reviews will be available before the book is officially published and released the first part of 2011.

I had permission to use copyrighted  gangline diagrams found on http://hubpages.com/hub/Understanding-the-Basics-of-Dog-Sledding, but I couldn't get the diagrams to copy and paste. If you want to see how the sled and dogs are connected, please visit Beth's website.

Also, please visit Terry's website and read about her extraordinary background and book.

Only stating facts.

As soon as I get a jpg of the cover without ARC on it, I'll post it at the top of this post.
