Meet Little Charley Thornpaws

Ginger portrayed Little Charley's owner as James Graham, son of 4RV editor Jacque Graham

Caelaach (pronounced Kelly) McKinna added another picture book to the 4RV Publishing lineup of children's books: Little Charley Thornpaws, illustrated by Ginger Nielson. The mischievous cat is well displayed in the rhyme Caelaach wrote.

The book is now available from the 4RV bookstore, and will soon appear on Amazon and be available through any bookstore. This book would make a delightful Christmas present.

Aww, how cute! I love the cover. Then again, at my mom and stepdad's house we basically have 11 cats, if counting the 4 strays we feed outside. I've always been a cat person.

It is a cute book! "Little Charley Thornpaws" details just one day in Charley's life. Caelaach McKinna's perfect rhyme sees Charley through the day's antics to a peaceful rest. I loved illustrating the book and was so delighted when James Graham agreed to let me use him as a subject. He will surface again in another fun book from 4RV *:)

The trailer catches the tone of the book so well. The author isn't able to promote her work very much, just as I don't have time to promote mine. She's the head of a different publishing house, and authors' books tend to take more of our time and efforts. *grin*
