ARCs for my novel Stolen arrived

Stolen will be officially released later this year, maybe October or November. Much depends on how the final editing goes.

Thankfully ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) are not for sale and aren't completely edited, but are advance copies to use for reviews. I swiped one of the ARCs so I could go through and make notes about editing/revising needs. Whew, what a difference between trying to edit on a computer screen and with a real book.

Most of the copies of the ARCs are in the hands of the publicist and, hopefully, will soon be in hands of reviewers. The next step is we receive some great reviews - hope, hope, hope.

I started a website about the novel, even with a blog from the main character, Torri. I going to add a place where readers can leave comments. Please visit Stolen, the website.

I'll post how the process through reviews, final editing and revisions, and the final release. This novel is one that's very dear to me, and which has taken over six years to be published. What a wait.

That is so exciting. Good luck to you and looking forward to the release date of the book.

To be honest, I hadn't heard ARC very often until I started reading more blogs. Now, it's all over the place in the blogs I read. Very interesting and I look forward to the day I'm talking about my own ARC.

Wow Vivian, how exciting. I wish you lots of luck with the sales of your book when it is available. I've added it to my want list of books to get.

Woo hoo!

And I agree - editing on the page is so different. I see things that I just don't notice on the computer.

Editing on actual book pages is also different than editing on printed pages. I can hardly believe the difference.
