4RV breaking into eBook market

Two of 4RV Publishing's young adult books are now available as e books on Kindle. We're working on adding more. By this summer we should have all our YA books and at least part of our fiction novels ready on Amazon and the 4RV eBook page.

Now available for Kindle is Bubba & Giganto: Odds Against Us by Lea Shizas and Just Breeze by Beverly Stowe McClure.

Other titles will be available as formatted.

Two great new books from 4RV now available

Let's first look at Just Breeze by Beverly Stowe McClure, cover and book design by Aidana WillowRaven.

Beverly and Breeze are holding a book launch party, which everyone can enjoy. Go to Just Breeze's website to discover all the guidelines.

A few words about the young adult/middle grade novel:

Eighth grade starts out the same as every other year for Breeze Brannigan. She’s still the tallest student, boy or girl, in her class, wears shoes that would fit an elephant, and her smile reveals dazzling braces that blind everyone within ten feet.

Then she meets Cam , the new boy in school who speaks with an accent and must be from another planet, for none of the earthling boys she knows are so polite. He also has a secret, a secret that could mean life or death for Cam and his mother and that Breeze must help him keep.

The second release in September is Second Chance by Galand Nuchols, cover and book also designed by Aidana WillowRaven.

The characters from Second Chance, another young adult novel, don't have their own blog or website yet, but we can know more about their story from the blurb on the back of the book:

Josh and Leroy are friends despite their differences. They face a world of depression, segregation, drought, and prohibition.

Josh, the main target of the town bully, uses the boy’s Achilles heel to even the score. Leroy hates the father he has never seen, but he must make life changing decisions when the man returns to be a part of Leroy's and his
mother’s lives.

They help a mutual friend, George, and his family walk a tightrope, as they deal with
their white neighbor, who is determined to get rid of them.

Together the three friends bring a small measure of justice to their challenging world, as they each experience a second chance.

Both books can be found through bookstores, as well as online stores, and from the publisher 4RV Publishing.

Latest news about 4RV Publishing

4RV Publishing was present at the Eastern Oklahoma AuthorFest August 8. I shared a portion of the news article that came out two days later. I'll add a few photos lower on the page

Just Breeze, a tween/young adult book by Beverly Stowe McClure, will be released in September and has an attention-grabbing cover designed by Aidana WillowRaven. Beverly's story will interest not only middle grade and teen aged girls, but anyone who remembers being Breeze's age and suffering the pangs of youth. Pre-orders will be able to be made from the 4RV web site store in a couple of days.

Eric Mathe's Tommy Turtle: Exercise is Fun! is selling like we wish all books would. His contacts resulted in extraordinary publicity, and he's making the most of it.

Best of Books, a bookstore in Edmond, can't keep copies on the shelves. To the left is Tommy in a back-to-school display. On the right, he's behind the register where everyone can't help but see him.

I promised some photos from the Eastern Oklahoma AuthorFest, so here they are. As people entered the door, the first thing they saw was the 4RV Publishing poster. Then to the left side of the front poster was the table with our books on display. Jacque Graham is behind the table in one photo.

We had many compliments about the professional look of our table. I really do like the display racks we have, makes setting up neater and easier.

Next event for 4RV is the Okahoma Department of Education's Encyclo-Media, September 17 and 18. We'll set up in the Cox Convention Center downtown Oklahoma City on Wednesday the 16th.

Also, 4RV will be represented and have several authors attending the Heartland New Day BookFest in April. Even though the book fest is a few months away, authors, illustrators, and small presses are encouraged to register because slots are going quickly.

Blog tour winners

I used a virtual dice device on Writing.Com to find the winners of the four 4RV bags. First I assigned numbers to each person who left a comment; some people had more than one number because they let a comment on more than one blog. Over 80 numbers were assigned.

I've sent emails to all four and will mail the bags as soon as I receive addresses.

And the winners are:

From Rena Jones' blog - Adrienne Saldivar

Commenting on several blogs but the winning number from Ransom Noble's blog - Suzy Koch

Another commenter on more than one blog but with the number from Holly Jahangiri's blog winning - Morgan Mandel

Also with comments on many blogs, but winning with the number assigned her on Beverly Stowe McClure's blog - Charlotte Phillips

Thank you, all tour hosts, and thank you, all who visited and left comments.
